Blogging is a very powerful tool in writing that Steph has her two classing utilizing on a weekly basis. Why is the blog so great? Well, it’s combining so many things in literature, communication, and technology. It has already become very popular and influential and is only going to get bigger as we venture through the twenty-first century.
Blogging can be used in so many ways: from politics to anonymously critiquing our teacher’s hair style, and everything in between. Many of the freshman students (and my junior peers for that matter) are shy about critiquing the work of others and are embarrassed to allow others to see their own work. By blogging anonymously it allows everyone to get their writing reviewed and analyzed not just by peers by anyone on the internet, without having your face attached to it.
Feedback is an extremely important part of writing that Steph is trying to get us all to realize. By intermixing the classes it gives us all some more valuable feedback. We should take advantage of it.
